Any resident of Nevada is eligible for a PETucate Library Card. In order to receive your permanent library card, please bring photo
identification and verification of address to our location. If you are under 16 years of age, your parent or guardian must accompany
you to the library to show his or her picture ID and verification of address.
*You may borrow up to 10 total items, including
up to 3 videos, 3 DVDs and 3 music CDs at one time.
*Books and audio books check out for two weeks, with two additional two-week renewal periods unless another customer has placed a hold.
*Videocassettes, DVDs and music CDs check out for one week, renewable for one additional week unless another customer has placed a hold. *Circulating magazines check out for one week with no renewals.

Library Fines
You are charged daily fines for each item not returned by its due date. The Library will attempt to notify you when material is overdue. Fines are accrued at 25 cents per day, per item. The maximum fine charged is $10 per item, per checkout period.

Lost Items
If you have lost an item you will be responsible for paying a standard replacement fee based on the type of materials lost (paperback, DVD, etc.). You will also be charged a $5 processing fee, and you may be charged overdue fines that have accrued on the lost item. Items will be declared lost on the 40th day overdue. An appropriate replacement fee and a $5.00 processing fee will be assessed on the 40th day.

Blocked Cards
You cannot check out or renew materials if you have fines or fees totaling $5 or more, your library account is in "collections" or you have an incorrect address and/or telephone number on your library record. Library card accounts with fines and/or fees totaling $50 or more will be sent to a collection agency for further action. A fee of $20.00 will be added to your account to cover collection costs.
